To watch television on your PC, you can do that using your VLC player. No extra plugin or tool is required.
Now, you have already installed VLC, do step by step as below illustrated:-
1) Open VLC media player.
2) Now press Ctrl+L for playlist, This takes you to Playlist window.
3) From the Playlist window options now go to Internet.
