How To use Microsoft Fix It
1) Firstly Download Microsoft Fix it portable edition, Click here to download, Its a small ~350 KB executable file.
Double click on "MicrosoftFixit-portable.exe". Simply Click on "Run" if the Security Warning dialog is presented.
2) Now Click on the "Accept" button (Terms of the License Agreement).
While installing Microsoft Fix it portable edition downloads additional components and files. So it is necessary that you should be connected to internet. The download size is ~40 MB.
Then simply Click on the "Finish" button.
3) Now The folder, Fix it portable, contains complete Microsoft Fix it package. For running the Microsoft Fix it portable edition:
- Simply Navigate to the folder Fix it portable.
- Double click (Right click "Open") to Launch "Fix It" this opens the Microsoft Fix it portable edition.
4) Now Select the category that best describe the problem. Categories are already shown above.
Then Click on the green button "Run Now" to run the Microsoft Automated Trouble Shooter locally stored.
